87 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 7 percent are residents of other states. 6 percent are citizens of foreign countries.
The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (57 percent) and Asian (14 percent).
The school admitted 40 percent of the 38,755 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 19 percent enrolled.
