The Chemung County Department of Public Works has scheduled two public information meetings to discuss upcoming infrastructure projects. The first meeting is set for July 2, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the department’s office in Horseheads, New York. This session will cover the proposed replacements of the County Road 3 over Baker Creek Culvert and the County Road 29 over Dry Run Culvert.

A second meeting will occur on July 16, 2025, also from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., at the same location. This gathering will focus on the replacement of the Langdon Hill Road over Newton Creek Bridge.

These projects are currently in the preliminary design phase and are being managed by both the Chemung County Department of Public Works and the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT). Representatives from these organizations, along with Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., will be present to address questions and gather feedback from attendees.

For further inquiries regarding these meetings, individuals can contact Mr. Carl Martel, P.E., Project Manager at Chemung County Department of Public Works.
