Chemung County has announced an online auction for surplus equipment, which will take place from November 11 to November 25, 2025. The auction includes items such as HVAC units, two trucks, eight old transit buses, six ice machines, and various yard equipment.

The auction will be conducted exclusively online through AuctionsInternational.com. While current registered bidders can participate at no additional cost, new bidders are required to pay a one-time $10 fee to register their credit card. However, new participants can use the “CHEM25” promotion code this month for free registration.

According to the county’s announcement: “Bidding starts on November 11th, 2025 and bids close on November 25th, 2025 at approximately 6:00 P.M. Items include HVAC Units, Two Trucks, Eight Old Transit Buses, Six Ice Machines and several miscellaneous Yard Equipment items and more.”

All successful bidders must pay a buyer premium of ten percent for cash transactions or 12.77 percent for credit transactions in addition to New York State sales tax. All items are sold “as-is,” with no warranties expressed or implied.

“A complete list with photos, descriptions, contacts, and payment/pick-up instructions is available on the Auctions International website. Interested bidders are encouraged to inspect before placing bids,” according to Chemung County officials.

The county also notes it reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
