On Thursday, May 1, former Elmira High School standout Kaitlynn Place’s current college team, the Monmouth Hawks, lost 4-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Hofstra Pride.
The game took place at Bill Edwards Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Pride this season.
The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 12 p.m. at Bill Edwards Stadium against Hofstra Pride.
