Supporters gathered at the recent 2025 Empty Bowls event to help combat hunger in the local area, raising more than $8,750 for the cause. Collaborators included Compass Group, the UHS Food & Nutrition team, and Roberson Clayworks, whose efforts were crucial to the event’s success.

Compass Group provided the food, while Roberson Clayworks donated handcrafted pottery bowls for attendees to take home. Tickets for the event were priced at $25, with $20 benefitting the Food Bank of the Southern Tier and $5 supporting the UHS Foundation’s STOP Hunger Fund.

Over two days, more than 350 lunches were served. “This is our highest attended Empty Bowls yet!” expressed the organizers in gratitude for the community’s support.
