Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has granted $313,813 to Olean Airport. This funding is for phase two of a rehabilitation project, which includes parking lot improvements and the construction of a new lighting system. An additional grant of $87,400 was awarded for terminal improvements.
Congressman Langworthy emphasized the importance of these investments: “Investing in our local airports is essential to strengthening our regional infrastructure and economy,” he stated. “I’m proud to support these FAA grants, which will help the Olean Airport make needed upgrades that improve safety, access, and future growth opportunities for our communities.”
