Today, Congressman Nick Langworthy announced that the Federal Aviation Administration has granted $1,580,131 to Elmira Corning Regional Airport. This funding is allocated for the reconstruction of an existing terminal building roof. Additionally, the FAA has provided a grant of $615,943 for improvements to a snow removal equipment storage building.
Congressman Langworthy stated, “Corning’s airport is a vital resource for the regional economy. This federal investment will ensure the airport can make necessary upgrades that enhance safety, improve operations, and support long-term development across the Southern Tier. I’ll always fight for infrastructure that delivers results for our rural communities.”
