On Friday, May 2, former Corning-Painted Post High School standout Sophia Polzella’s current college team, the Hofstra Pride, won 4-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Monmouth Hawks.

The game took place at Bill Edwards Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Pride’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 at 12 p.m. at Bill Edwards Stadium against Monmouth Hawks.
