Guthrie has announced a series of events and offers to honor veterans on Veterans Day, which falls on Tuesday, November 11. Veterans are invited to visit any Guthrie cafeteria, where they can receive complimentary coffee and a donut by identifying themselves as veterans.

In addition to the refreshments, the Veterans Resource Center at the Sayre clinic atrium will host an open house from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. During this event, attendees can enjoy free cookies and take guided tours of the facility.

The Guthrie Veterans Committee is also organizing a sale of veterans apparel, with all proceeds going to support the Veteran Recognition and Awareness Fund. This year’s items include a long-sleeve shirt available in three colors for $28, a knit beanie for $30, and a scarf for $22. Orders can be placed through Moose’s Enterprise Store until November 30.

“Guthrie is extremely grateful for the contributions of all those who are serving or have served in the U.S. military,” according to a statement from Guthrie.
