For the sixth consecutive year, The Guthrie Clinic has received the highest recognition from Epic for its use of electronic medical records (EMR). The 2025 Epic Gold Stars Level 10 distinction places Guthrie among fewer than three health care organizations nationwide to achieve this honor for six years in a row.

“To be recognized at the highest level by Epic for six consecutive years is a testament to the incredible work of our teams,” said Terri Couts, EVP, Chief Digital Officer, Guthrie. “This honor reflects our deep commitment to digital innovation and our relentless focus on using technology to enhance patient safety, quality and experience across the entire organization.”

The Epic Gold Stars program evaluates how health systems use EMR technology to improve patient experience, clinical quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
