Guthrie Corning Hospital is preparing for its upcoming event, Bloom, a spring cocktail reception dedicated to celebrating charitable contributions to healthcare. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 6-9 p.m. at the Corning Country Club.

The purpose of Bloom is to generate funds that will provide essential resources for enhancing the hospital’s ability to offer high-quality medical care and services. Paul VerValin, President of Guthrie Corning Hospital, emphasized the event’s significance: “Through our community’s generosity, we’re creating health care innovations that will help every patient we serve. This event brings together celebration and purpose as we work to strengthen health care at Guthrie Corning Hospital.”

The hospital is reaching out to local businesses, organizations, and individuals to participate as sponsors for the event. Sponsorship is seen as a meaningful way to support the hospital’s mission and gain recognition within a notable group of community leaders and philanthropists.

Those interested in sponsorships, ticket reservations, or making donations are encouraged to contact Guthrie Resource Development at 570-887-4420 or visit the website at www.guthrie.org/bloom.
