Guthrie Corning Hospital has received a donation of $2,342.46 from the new Jersey Mike’s Subs location in Corning. The funds were raised during the restaurant’s grand opening fundraiser and will be used to support local health care services.

The event encouraged community participation by offering a special promotion: Jersey Mike’s contributed $3 for each customer who redeemed a designated coupon. A check presentation ceremony was held to mark the partnership and recognize community involvement.

Harlan Iversen, general manager of the Corning Jersey Mike’s Subs shop, commented on the event’s success. “The grand opening was a huge success, and we were thrilled to support Guthrie Corning Hospital,” Iversen said. “We deeply appreciate the community coming together to help us launch our business while giving back to the hospital. We’re committed to continuing our support for the Corning community through great subs, excellent service and ongoing charitable initiatives.”

Representatives from Guthrie thanked Jersey Mike’s for their contribution and stated that these funds would directly benefit the hospital’s mission of providing care in the area.
