Guthrie hosts ninth annual Food Farm Family Festival on August 2

Join the ninth annual Food Farm Family Festival, organized by Guthrie’s Weight Loss Center and Wellbeing Committee. The event will take place at Howard Elmer Park in Sayre on Saturday, August 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Halleigh Ficarro, MS, RDN, LDN, an oncology registered dietitian, will present “Nourish to Flourish: Local Nutrition for Cancer Prevention” at 11 a.m. She will discuss how local nutrition resources can support cancer prevention.

Attendees can visit participating local vendors to discover fresh and nutritious food options available in the community. Each vendor will stamp your event card to confirm your visit. Return your stamped card to the event table for free entry into basket raffles and other prizes.
