Guthrie outlines holiday schedule for Independence Day

Most Guthrie outpatient labs, pharmacies, walk-in care locations, clinics, offices, and departments will be closed on Friday, July 4th, in observance of Independence Day. Essential services and select facilities will continue to operate for patients and the community.

Emergency departments at several hospitals including Guthrie Robert Packer Hospitals in Sayre and Towanda, Guthrie Corning Hospital, Guthrie Troy Community Hospital, Guthrie Cortland Medical Center, and Guthrie Lourdes Hospital will remain open 24 hours a day.

Walk-in care at Vestal Shippers Road and Chenango Bridge locations will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pharmacies located at Guthrie Chenango Bridge, Lourdes Hospital, and Vestal Shippers Road will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The lab at Corning Hospital will maintain its regular hours from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Most other locations are expected to resume normal operations on Saturday, July 5th. It should be noted that the Guthrie Big Flats Orthopedic Walk-in Clinic and imaging services will not operate on Saturday.
