On Thursday, May 8, former Addison High School standout Isabella Benjamin’s current collegiate team the Bridgeport Purple Knights lost 5-7 against the Goldey-Beacom Lightning in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Jackson Athletic Complex at 1:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Goldey-Beacom Lightning in the tournament.

The Bridgeport Purple Knights’ next game will take place on Friday, May 9 at 4:30 p.m. at Jackson Athletic Complex.
