Congressman Nick Langworthy has announced that Pro Action of Steuben and Yates, Inc. will receive a grant totaling $2,530,907 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The funding is designated for Head Start projects in Bath, New York.
“I was proud to support and deliver over $2.5 million for Head Start projects in Bath,” stated Congressman Langworthy. “Head Start programming is essential to families in our community and this funding will ensure children have the best opportunity to learn and be nurtured. I am excited to see this program flourish with federal assistance.”
The Head Start program aims to address the needs shared by all children, particularly benefiting those from income-eligible families through a comprehensive developmental approach. It emphasizes maximizing each child’s strengths and unique experiences while involving the family as a crucial participant in their development.
