Congressman Nick Langworthy has announced that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will provide $1,250,000 to the Village of Portville for improvements to its drinking water system. The funding comes from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (STAG).

“I’m proud to deliver over $1.2 million to upgrade Portville’s water system,” said Congressman Langworthy. “This investment will help modernize Portville’s sanitary collection system to prevent contamination and protect public health. Since securing the earmark last year, I have been pushing to get this grant across the finish line, and I am thrilled it’s now a reality.”

The funding was secured as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024 (H. Res. 4366), which became law in March 2024.
