MyChart Central, a new platform designed to streamline healthcare management, will be available starting November 6. The tool allows users to consolidate all their MyChart accounts into one system, providing unified access with a single login.
According to the announcement, MyChart Central is aimed at individuals who see multiple healthcare providers or manage care for family members. It offers features such as password-free login options using passkeys and biometric authentication like Face ID. Users can also update their contact information once and have it automatically synchronized across all connected healthcare organizations.
“MyChart Central makes managing your healthcare easier by bringing all your MyChart accounts together under a single login,” the statement reads.
The platform provides a dashboard where health records from various providers are accessible in one place. Additional functionalities include scheduling appointments, messaging care teams, viewing test results, and sharing health data with other apps and organizations for more comprehensive control over personal care.
The service maintains the standard features of MyChart while expanding convenience through centralized management and enhanced security measures.
