Congressman Nick Langworthy, who represents New York’s 23rd district in the U.S. Congress, has recently highlighted a series of community-focused initiatives and personal messages on his social media accounts.
On May 9, Langworthy posted about a young child battling cancer: “Meet Christian. Diagnosed with leukemia at two. Bravely battling cancer @RoswellPark at the age of three. I fought for and supported the ‘Give Kids a Chance Act.’ It will help children access lifesaving treatments faster and give more families hope in their darkest moments.”
The following day, May 10, he shared a Mother’s Day message: “Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms out there. Your love, strength, and sacrifice, must be recognized and honored every day of the year. And to my incredible and loving wife Erin, an amazing mother to our son and daughter, thank you for being the rock of our family.”
Later that morning on May 10, Langworthy drew attention to local animal rescue efforts: “Kind hearted and passionate advocates are the reason why beagles were rescued from Ridgland Farms and brought RIGHT HERE to WNY. At 11:00 AM you can see them. We are sharing video on how these dogs are doing, and our efforts to rescue more. Video drops THIS MORNING. 11:00 AM.”
