Congressman Nick Langworthy, who represents New York’s 23rd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on social media highlighting his legislative priorities and recent actions by House Republicans.

On April 15, 2026, Langworthy addressed support for seniors and caregivers, stating, “I will always fight to protect the benefits our seniors have earned and ensure they are cared for in their golden years, which means making sure caregivers are supported, too.”

Later that day, he commented on Tax Day and recent tax policies enacted by House Republicans. In his post from April 15, 2026, Langworthy wrote: “Bad news: it’s Tax Day. Great news: @HouseGOP tax cuts helped your family and businesses. More take-home pay, bigger refunds: No tax on tips/overtime Stopped a $2.6 trillion hike $191 billion in relief Bigger child tax credit Expanded deductions, lower taxes”

The following day, on April 16, 2026, Langworthy emphasized the shift in focus toward working families under current leadership. He stated: “For too long, working families were disrespected & treated like an endless piggy bank for reckless government spending. That changed with us—we are putting the hardworking parents who are raising the next generation of Americans at the front of the line. @HouseGOP”

Nick Langworthy has served as a member of Congress since 2023 after replacing Joe Sempolinski as representative for New York’s 23rd district. Born in Jamestown in 1981 and currently residing in Pendleton, Langworthy graduated from Niagara University with a BA in 2003.
