Congressman Nick Langworthy, who represents New York’s 23rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on his activities and views through a series of posts on his official social media account.
On March 10, 2026, Langworthy announced receiving recognition for his work related to the Great Lakes. He stated, “It was an honor to receive the Champion of the Great Lakes Award from the Chamber of Marine Commerce and speak at this year’s Great Lakes Congressional Breakfast. Our Great Lakes are not just a majestic national treasure, they are vital to the economic, environmental, and” (March 10, 2026).
Later that day, he commented on issues facing airport workers amid federal funding disputes. Langworthy wrote, “Chaos at our airports and the hardworking men and women of the @tsa cruelly being forced to work without pay. Thank a Senate Democrat. #reopenDHS” (March 10, 2026).
On March 12, 2026, Langworthy highlighted his participation in an event honoring retired law enforcement personnel in Western New York. He posted, “It was an honor to attend the Western New York Association of Retired Law Enforcement Personnel annual breakfast. These dedicated heroes have created a legacy of professionalism, service, and commitment to public safety. I will always fight for our men and women in blue.” (March 12, 2026).
Nick Langworthy has served as U.S. Representative for New York’s 23rd District since replacing Joe Sempolinski in 2023. Born in Jamestown in 1981 and currently residing in Pendleton at age 42, Langworthy graduated from Niagara University with a BA in 2003.
