On Sunday, April 13, former Elmira High School standout Kaitlynn Place’s current college team, the Monmouth Hawks, lost 14-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Stony Brook Seawolves.

The game took place at University Field. This was their third matchup against the Seawolves this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 2 p.m. at Tiger Softball Stadium against Towson Tigers.
