On Sunday, April 27, former Elmira Alternative High School At Washington School standout Sarah Coon’s current college team, the Virginia Cavaliers, lost 2-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Stanford Cardinals.

The game took place at Stanford Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30 at 6 p.m. at Palmer Park against Liberty Lady Flames.
