On Sunday, April 6, former Corning-Painted Post High School standout Sophia Polzella’s current college team, the Hofstra Pride, won 14-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Drexel Dragons.

The game took place at Drexel Softball Field. This was their third matchup against the Dragons this season.

The Pride’s next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 5 p.m. at Bill Edwards Stadium against Saint Peter’s Peacocks.
