On Wednesday, April 23, former Elmira High School standout Kaitlynn Place’s current college team, the Monmouth Hawks, lost 8-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Princeton Tigers.

The game took place at Monmouth Softball Park. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 2 p.m. at Monmouth Softball Park against Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens.
