Schuyler Steuben Chemung Tioga Allegany BOCES enrolls 150 undergrads

At Schuyler Steuben Chemung Tioga Allegany BOCES, 56 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 92 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The public school in Elmira enrolled 150 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

92 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 8 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (81 percent) and Black or African American (7 percent).
