The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Stephen Cornwell, Cornwell for Congress, refunded $2,800 to John J. Gartman Jr. on June 9, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

According to the FEC data, the following reason was listed for the refunded expenditure: 'Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company'.

Cornwell for Congress refunded $10,000 total since January 1.
