Join The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes for Poets in Play on Tuesday March 14 from 7-9pm for a poetry reading featuring Kathabela Wilson. This will be a zoom-only event. Please see below for Zoom info. 

After Kathabela's featured reading, there will be an open mic session. Each person is encouraged to read a poem either inspired by Kathabela's prompt or a work of their own creation. One poem per person please. 

About Kathabela Wilson:Kath Abela Wilson (her publishing name honors her mother Mary Abela 1920 – 2015) lives in Pasadena, California. Here free verse and Asian short form poetry are published in hundreds of journals worldwide. She has traveled the world performing flute and poetry with her husband, Rick. Kathabela founded “Poets on Site,” a writing and performance group. Her first book, "Figures of Humor and Strange Beauty, a serial personal Odyssey," was published in 2019. She has 4 chapbooks out, “The Owl Still Asking,” “Tanka for Troubled Times,” “Driftwood Monster,” and “Haiku for Troubled Times.”
