Congressman Langworthy issued a statement following Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's address to a joint session of Congress.

“Today, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a deeply moving and inspirational address to a joint session of Congress, highlighting the vital importance of our alliance in the fight for civilization. When we stand with Israel, we stand against the terrorist regimes of Hamas and Iran,” said Congressman Langworthy.

Langworthy criticized Vice President Kamala Harris and other Democratic leaders such as Nancy Pelosi for boycotting the speech. “It’s disgusting and deeply disrespectful that Vice President Kamala Harris and other Democrat leaders like Nancy Pelosi chose to boycott the speech and side with the terrorist sympathizers hoisting Hamas flags while burning American ones and defacing our nation’s capital," he stated.

He further added, "Their absence sends a glaring message about whose side they are on in our mission to defeat evil and is a disgraceful slap in the face to the Americans still held hostage by Hamas. As Prime Minister Netanyahu aptly put it, those who align themselves with this terrorist regime are nothing more than 'useful idiots for Iran,' who want the same fate for America as they do Israel. I hope every American’s eyes are wide open to who is on the right side of history.”
