Tioga County issued the following announcement on Nov 23.

The listing below shows public areas where individuals visited in the days prior to testing positive for COVID-19, while they were experiencing symptoms or were in their infectious period. Anyone who was at any of these locations during the below periods of time are asked to monitor for symptoms for 14-days after the exposure.

  • Tuesday, 11/17/2020: Sugar Maple Café in Owego from 1:00pm – 2:00pm
  • Friday, 11/13/2020: Visions Federal Credit Union in Owego from 11:45am – 12:00pm
  • Friday, 11/13/2020: Owego Kitchen in Owego from 12:00pm – 2:00pm
  • Friday, 11/13/2020: Tops Market in Owego from 3:30pm – 3:45pm
  • Thursday, 11/12/2020: Donoli’s Restaurant in Apalachin from 6:00pm – 7:15pm

ADDITIONAL LOCATIONS OUTSIDE OF TIOGA COUNTY:

  • Friday, 11/13/2020: Target in Vestal from 2:30pm – 3:15pm

Please note that in some cases individuals are tested routinely for COVID-19 for work, before traveling, or prior to having a medical procedure done, and may be asymptomatic before receiving a positive test result.

Anyone who becomes symptomatic is encouraged to contact their health care provider and their local health department. A list of COVID-19 testing locations in our area can be found at covid19.tiogacountyny.com or at the Tioga County Public Health Facebook page.
