UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital has introduced a new CT scanner, enhancing its diagnostic imaging services. The hospital’s Diagnostic Imaging team recently installed the GE Revolution Apex Platform, which is expected to improve the quality and speed of patient care.

According to hospital representatives, the new equipment offers clearer images and faster results. The machine features AI-enhanced imaging capabilities and can accommodate patients up to 675 pounds. This allows for more inclusive care and enables technologists to spend additional time with patients by streamlining preparation and processing.

The addition of this technology also broadens the range of diagnostic services available at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital. Patients can now access specialized scans such as cardiac CT locally, eliminating the need to travel to other facilities for these procedures. Hospital officials state that this upgrade strengthens access to comprehensive, high-quality care within the community.
