UHS Delaware Valley Hospital hosted its annual BBQ on June 11, where staff, board members, UHS System leaders, and community partners gathered for a meal featuring BBQ lunch and ice cream. The event included performances by the UHS Choir.

Rolland “Boomer” Bojo, President & CEO of UHS Delaware Valley Hospital, expressed gratitude to attendees for their support and shared updates on the Medical Neighborhood project. This expansion aims to provide residents with comprehensive healthcare services in the future.

Bojo mentioned progress in obtaining the Certificate of Need from the Department of Health. Additionally, they are securing necessary power from NYSEG and finalizing a purchase of two acres for parking.

“It’s an exciting time here at DVH and I want to thank all of you for being part of this journey, for your trust and for supporting this vision,” said Bojo. “It is such a privilege to work alongside all you and I look forward to all we will accomplish in the next few years.”

Other speakers included John Carrigg, UHS System CEO & President; Ed Snow, DVH Board Member; and Bjorn Eilertsen, Mayor of Walton. They expressed their enthusiasm for the hospital’s future plans.
