On August 5, UHS staff took part in the National Night Out event at Schorr Family Firehouse Stage in Johnson City. The event was organized with local law enforcement and the Johnson City Neighborhood Project to help community members connect with police and learn about safety.
Representatives from UHS included the Trauma Injury Prevention Team, Population Health, and Johnson City Family Care. They provided information on UHS services and discussed summer safety for children, such as bike safety. Giveaways were also distributed to attendees.
The event offered residents a chance to interact with both healthcare professionals and law enforcement officers while participating in various activities.
“Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table!”
