The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Cortland conferred 361 bachelor's degrees and 144 master's degrees in education programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in elementary education and teaching. Data shows the school gave out 157 bachelor's degrees in elementary education and teaching, followed by 129 bachelor's degrees in sport and fitness administration/management and 127 bachelor's degrees in kinesiology and exercise science.
The SUNY Cortland enrolled 6,858 students for 2017-18, including 6,343 in undergraduate programs and 515 in graduate programs.
