The Elmira Business Institute enrolls 146 undergrads

At the Elmira Business Institute, 75 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 79 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private for-profit institution in Elmira enrolled 146 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 13.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

80 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (63 percent) and Black or African American (14 percent).
