Union-Endicott Central School District recently issued the following announcement.
Students at JFS are “teeing off” the school year with a friendly competition of golf during their physical education class. Students have been learning the fundamental skills of golfing on the JFS Golf Range. They practiced hitting off a tee and putting on the green in preparation to play on the new JFS Nine-Hole Course.
Aside from learning how to swing a golf club properly, they are brushing up on their math skills in keeping a scorecard and learning that patience and focus can lead the way to success in many ways!
Thank you to the facilities department for creating the course behind the school.
