Chenango Forks Central School District issued the following announcement on Dec 16.
After looking at the severity of the weather forecast and evaluating the 180-day academic calendar, we have determined that if weather conditions are bad enough, we will call a snow day or delay this week.
We’re concerned that potential power outages may disrupt remote learning and will call a snow day if the weather is severe.
All remote instruction will be canceled if we call a snow day. Delay schedules have been posted to our website. BOCES students will not be transported to their programs if we close.
This decision will be communicated to our school community through the website, phone alert system and all social media channels. Check those platforms early tomorrow morning for the latest updates.
Please stay safe and follow all guidance issued by local officials regarding transportation.
