Union-Endicott Central School District issued the following announcement on Dec 16.
A pandemic could not prevent our UEHS Key Club from helping to spread some holiday cheer to our Tiger Cubs.
Students spent the last few weeks seeking donations for K-5 students. After collecting hundreds of gifts, Adviser Theresa Brozovic organized and bagged the donations into induvial gift bags for 100 U-E K-5 Tigers. Staff from the U-E maintenance department picked up the bags at her house and brought them to the district office where Key Club members then loaded them onto buses. Students traveled on the buses to hand-deliver the gifts to each elementary student.
Thank you to the U-E maintenance and transportation departments for all the help, to our generous U-E community for the donations, and to Ms. Brozovic and the student members of UEHS Key Club for helping to make this holiday special for 100 U-E elementary students. Community, collaboration, and care! #TigerPride
