It's Child Passenger Safety Week!! Is your child's harness right? Here's what you need to look for:
Rear-Facing Car Seat - Harness should be AT or BELOW the shoulders
Forward-Facing Car Seat - Harness should be AT or ABOVE the shoulders.
Be sure the chest clip sits on the child's chest and is even with their armpits - not on their belly.
And make sure the harness is snug enough that it passes the "pinch test" - meaning there is no extra slack in the webbing.
Remember, the harness keeps your child in their seat during a crash so make sure it is fitted properly!
