U.S. Rep. Marc Molinaro (R-NY-19) announced today that the Think DIFFERENTLY About Disability Employment Act has passed the House of Representatives with bipartisan support. Introduced alongside U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas (D-NH-1), this bill marks Molinaro's 40th bipartisan measure to pass the House, with 11 of his bipartisan measures signed into law.

The legislation aims to create a partnership between the National Council on Disability and the Small Business Administration (SBA). The objective is to assist small businesses in addressing accessibility issues for employees with disabilities, promote hiring within the disability community, and support entrepreneurs with disabilities in their ventures. This initiative builds on Molinaro's nationally recognized 'Think DIFFERENTLY' campaign, which seeks to eliminate barriers and create opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Rep. Molinaro stated, "Every person of every ability deserves opportunities to succeed and pursue their passions. I'm proud to have my Think DIFFERENTLY About Disability Employment Act pass the House with strong bipartisan support. My bill ensures those with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities have the support and resources they need to become an entrepreneur or work for a small business."

Since joining Congress, Rep. Molinaro has expanded his 'Think DIFFERENTLY' initiative by developing a series of bipartisan legislative measures. The Think DIFFERENTLY About Disability Employment Act is part of this broader legislative package.
