“I am happy to announce that the first round of funding for the Access to Home grant program is open. Over $30 million in funds has been made available for this program, which seeks to make homes more affordable for those with disabilities. Applications are due by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, are available to eligible not-for-profit organizations and units of local government and must be submitted using the Community Development Online Application System (CDOL). Application materials can be found on the New York State Homes and Community Renewal website. I urge any qualifying organization or municipality who may be interested in this program to submit an application.”
