Congressman Nick Langworthy revealed federal funding of $50,000 each for Dunkirk and Mina awarded by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC). The funds will support Internal Capacity Building Projects within these municipalities.

Additionally, there will be professional development opportunities focused on ArcGIS technology, aimed at improving geographic information systems capabilities. These advancements are expected to improve their handling of economic challenges and increase efficiency.
“I’m proud to announce these two ARC grants for the City of Dunkirk and the Town of Mina, which will provide needed resources to strengthen their workforce and better serve Chautauqua Country,” stated Congressman Langworthy. “This funding will be used to update their technology and optimize efficiency, which is something everyone will benefit from.”
