Public hearings and administrative board meetings are scheduled for the Chemung County Elmira Sewer District and Chemung County Sewer District No. 1. The Administrative Board of the Chemung County Elmira Sewer District will hold a public hearing on April 2, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in Room 510 of the Hazlett Building, located at 203 Lake Street, 5th Floor, Elmira, New York. The purpose is to gather comments on proposed amendments to the Scale of Charges for the district, which would be effective retroactively from January 1, 2025.

Following this, a meeting of the Chemung County Elmira Sewer District Administrative Board will take place at 1:05 p.m. in the Chambers of the Chemung County Legislature at the same address. This meeting is open to all citizens.

Similarly, a public hearing by the Administrative Board of Chemung County Sewer District No. 1 is scheduled for April 2, 2025, at 1:10 p.m., also in Room 510 of the Hazlett Building. Comments will be heard regarding proposed amendments to their Scale of Charges effective retroactively from January 1, 2025.

Subsequently, a meeting of the Chemung County Sewer District No. 1 Administrative Board will occur at 1:15 p.m., again in the Chambers of the Chemung County Legislature. Citizens are invited to attend this meeting as well.
