The Chemung County Department of Motor Vehicles is facing a temporary disruption in services due to an issue with the photo camera. As a result, the DMV is unable to process Real ID or Enhanced License upgrades, new permit applications, or out-of-state license transfers.

Repair work is scheduled for Friday, April 18, and completion is expected by late afternoon. In the meantime, other DMV services remain operational. Customers are advised to delay visits that involve photo services until the equipment issue is resolved.

Christopher J. Moss, Chemung County Executive, communicated this update.
