Washington, DC – U.S. Rep. Marc Molinaro (NY-19) released a statement endorsing Speaker Mike Johnson's proposal to deliver foreign aid. In his endorsement, Rep. Molinaro emphasized the importance of the plan in supporting Israel, Taiwan, and Ukraine in facing global threats.
"Tonight, Speaker Johnson proposed a bold plan to help Israel, Taiwan, and Ukraine fight back against unprecedented global threats. It’s a plan that ought to attract a strong, bipartisan coalition," stated Rep. Molinaro.
Highlighting the historical context of standing against tyranny, Rep. Molinaro stated, "Since our nation’s founding, nearly every generation of Americans has been called to act and stand against tyranny. This is our moment. Iran, China, and Russia have entered into an unholy alliance – threatening our nation and democracies around the world."
In a call to action, Rep. Molinaro emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating, "We cannot be the generation that shrinks in its responsibility. When our enemies attack, as they're doing right now, America must not blink. We must respond strongly and decisively to give our allies the support they need to fight back." Rep. Molinaro asserted that the Speaker's plan presents the best option to prevent Israel, Taiwan, and Ukraine from falling.
