Binghamton City School District had the highest enrollment among Broome County school districts, welcoming 4,767 students during the 2022-23 school year, according to the New York State Education Department.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 50.6% of them were boys, and 49.4% were girls.

The most represented ethnicity among Binghamton City School District students was white, accounting for 38.9% of the student population.

Among the 11 districts in Broome County, Union-Endicott Central School District ranked second in enrollment numbers with 3,595 students, while Vestal Central School District welcomed 3,436 students and ranked third in the 2022-23 school year.
