Chemung County has announced that several roads will undergo milling and filling over the next two weeks. Despite the ongoing work, roads will remain open with traffic directed through all work zones.

"Please be patient, drive slowly, and use caution," urged county officials. The planned work schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions and the availability of contracted equipment.

"As always, please drive carefully through work zones, and allow extra time to reach your destination," they added. Roads will be reopened once milling and paving are completed, and they will also be accessible during the period between these two processes.

County Executive Christopher J. Moss expressed gratitude for public cooperation: "Thank you for your patience and cooperation with these roads' prep and construction work before the Mill and Fill paving."
