Congressman Nick Langworthy has announced the commencement of the 2025 Congressional Art Competition for high school students residing in New York's 23rd Congressional District. The winning piece will be displayed at the U.S. Capitol for a year.

The submission deadline is April 23, 2025. Congressman Langworthy expressed his enthusiasm for hosting the event, stating, "Western New York and the Southern Tier are filled with artistic talent, and I am thrilled to once again host the Congressional Art Competition to showcase the incredible work of our local high school students." He added that this competition offers young artists a chance to gain national recognition.

Last year's winner from NY-23 was Kaylee Ziobro with her artwork titled "Finally Home."

Students can find submission guidelines on Congressman Langworthy’s website. For inquiries, Sharon Murphy can be contacted via email at Sharon.Murphy@mail.house.gov or by phone at (607) 377-3130.
