Bidding for Chemung County's surplus equipment begins on December 11, 2024, at 6:00 PM and will close on December 20, 2024, around the same time. The auction includes a variety of items such as two Sterling plow trucks, five retired Sheriff vehicles, five old transit buses, one pickup truck, a John Deere loader, and several miscellaneous items.

While current registered bidders can participate freely, new bidders must pay a one-time registration fee of $10 to register their credit card for online bidding at AuctionsInternational.com. Only bids placed through this website will be accepted. Successful bidders are required to pay a buyer premium over the high bid: ten percent for cash transactions and fourteen percent for credit transactions plus New York State sales tax. All items are sold "as-is" with no warranties expressed or implied.

A complete list of items with photos and descriptions is available on the Auctions International website. Potential buyers are encouraged to inspect the items before placing bids. Chemung County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

For more information or inquiries about the auction process, interested parties can contact Auctions International at 1-800-536-1401.
