Guthrie has announced a new partnership with Gastroenterology Associates of Ithaca, PC (GAI). This collaboration combines two organizations known for their gastroenterological care services. Patients of GAI will continue visiting their office at 2435 N. Triphammer Road in Ithaca. However, endoscopic procedures will now be conducted at Guthrie's state-of-the-art GI suite located at Ithaca City Harbor or Guthrie Cortland Medical Center.

Brent Lemberg, MD from Gastroenterology Associates of Ithaca, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “Gastroenterology Associates of Ithaca is very excited about our new partnership with The Guthrie Clinic. This new opportunity will allow us to continue to provide high-quality GI care for our patients at our current office and to perform our procedures at the Guthrie City Harbor Endoscopy Center, both here in Ithaca. We know that our patients will love this new collaboration.”

Marie Darling, Senior Director of Administration for Guthrie Medical Group's Cortland Operations, also shared her excitement: “We are thrilled to welcome GAI’s rich history and amazing providers into our facilities. We knew this partnership was a great fit from the start. Our shared vision for what GI care should look like in Tompkins County is now being realized.”

The partnership became effective on Monday, March 3. All insurance forms accepted by GAI will continue to be accepted at Guthrie.
